Delphi
The legendary mountain site where Apollo’s oracle spoke in mysterious rhymes.

An IMAX Film and Immersive Exhibition

In Ancient Greece, people sought answers to such questions from celebrated oracles.
Situated in remote, spectacular sites, the most important oracle sanctuaries operated and thrived over millennia, powerful evidence of the solace they offered to the thousands of pilgrims who came to them with anxious questions.
Today, millions of tourists from around the world flock to the ruins of these ancient sites, demonstrating the enduring hold these places still have on our imagination.
An epic cinematic journey, ENCHANTED GREECE takes its audience to these oracles, blending myth, science and adventure while traveling across the dazzling landscape of modern Greece.
Together the IMAX movie and accompanying immersive exhibition explore the ancient oracle sites and the timeless quest to know the future.
What did the oracle sites look like?
How did they work?
Powered by cutting-edge innovations, including AI-driven 3D reconstructions and next-generation cinematic visualizations, ENCHANTED GREECE brings the ancient sites to life in immersive, historically faithful detail, as they have not been seen since ancient times.

The legendary mountain site where Apollo’s oracle spoke in mysterious rhymes.

Where answers were read in the rustling leaves of a magnificent oak tree held sacred to Zeus.

An island sanctuary where pilgrims sought not only answers but the promise of safety in this world and the next.

As the movie travels across the stunning landscape of modern Greece, the audience is transported through time to witness how people of the ancient world addressed anxieties and fears about the unknowable future, and discovers, too, an emotional resonance with these ancient lives.
Designed for longevity and global appeal, ENCHANTED GREECE will be distributed through the international IMAX® Museum and science center network in 2D, 3D, and Dome formats. Benefitting from built-in year-round foot traffic, films in these venues enjoy extensive runs of 4–6 months and remain in active distribution for 7–10 years, reaching tens of millions worldwide.
The unique digital component of ENCHANTED GREECE allows for the creation of innovative partner projects, such as a live Immersive Exhibit, inspired by the Oracles.
The ENCHANTED GREECE IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE will let audiences stand in the temples, walk the sacred paths, and feel the weight of questions asked beneath ancient skies. Through recreated rituals, layered soundscapes, and vivid reenactments grounded in historical research, viewers become participants and are transported into a world where history, archaeology and magic converge.
In partnership with institutions that present them, these films can drive a wide range of impact and outreach initiatives, from educational materials and STEM-focused activity guides to lectures, presentations, books, and even gift shop merchandise, that extend the learning experience beyond the screen.
ENCHANTED GREECE and its accompanying initiatives would highlight modern Greek culture as well as ancient, raising awareness of the rich heritage of the global Greek community.
An educational blockbuster also empowers institutions to organize school trips, a historically powerful driver of youth market distribution. We envision families who experience ENCHANTED GREECE being inspired to plan their next vacation in Greece, and children, years later, choosing to study classical literature, art, and history at the college level.
